Household Travel Behavior Survey Pilot Under subcontract to Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, we designed and pretested a household-based travel behavior survey for households in the region in and around New York City. The survey included the use of an activity-based diary, and computer-assisted telephone retrieval of travel information. A comprehensive pretest of 300 households was conducted in the spring, 1995.
