Model Trip Reduction Plans
Following the adoption by the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District of Rule 210, requiring employers to develop and implement trip reduction plans for their employees, we were retained to assist the County Administration to develop model plans. We worked with the county to analyze data from ten work sites and developed a menu of strategies that would achieve trip reductions in Ventura County. In addition, we reviewed various strategies and prepared for the County a list of recommended actions the County could take to assist other employers to achieve trip reductions as called for under Rule 210.
