Customer Survey
Conducted an on-board customer survey with 3,000 GET riders to identify and prioritize service improvement options. Activities included: survey instrument design, sampling plan, pretest, survey administration, and reporting.

Metropolitan Bakersfield Major Transportation Investment Study
Under sub-contract to Barton-Aschmann Associates, Inc., we conducted a series of data collection activities, including a system-wide rider check, an on-board survey of 2,200 Golden Empire Transit District bus riders, three focus groups, and a telephone survey of 800 residents of the greater metropolitan Bakersfield area. For the on-board and telephone survey, our staff were responsible for developing survey instrument and sampling plan; recruiting and training interviewers; preparing press release; conducting pretest and full survey; inputting data; geocoding trip origin and destinations (92 percent geocoding rate); and conducting statistical analysis.
